Live Cattle Serial Month futures (i.e., the odd months of Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, and Nov) will be terminated this Friday, June 2, 2006, after the close of trading at 3:15. p.m. due to the lack of   open interest in these contracts.  Additionally, the Live Cattle Serial Month Permit Program is will be terminated at the same time.  These changes affect both CME^® Globex^® and Trading Floor listings of both futures and futures spreads. 

Please note that the following contracts are not affected:

Evenmonth futures (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct and Dec)

• Options listings -- the underlying contracts for all listed Live Cattle options are the (unchanged) even month futures
